New Banner for My Blog

Ok, so I finally made a banner for my blog:

And yeah, I changed my tagline at the end of September from “oprah made me do it” to “are you a tigger or an eeyore?” inspired by this wonderful talk by Randy Pausch.

New Blog Template

Well, here’s a look at my new blog template:

It still needs a little work, but it’s all mine.

Changed Tagline

I wasn’t quite feeling my last tagline, even though it was one of my favorite movie quotes – “don’t piss down my back and then tell me that’s it raining.” It was a little too edgy for my mild-mannered blog.

Anyway, in a flash, the phrase “oprah made me do it” popped into my head and alas, my new tagline was born.

And the Winner Is…

I’ve decided to use my favorite movie quote for my blog slogan.

I STILL HAVE NOT COME UP WITH A NEW SLOGAN FOR MY BLOG.

This is starting to be a little troublesome.

Pressing Blog Issue

I really really really need to come up with a new tagline for my blog. Geez.

“my new home on the web…” is pretty tired.

I Think I’m Finding My Groove

After wondering if I was going to shut down Ph. Diddy and just be done with blogging, I seem to have found my groove.

Know thyself.

I know that I’m not going to post everyday so I’m not going to feel bad about that.

I know that personal sites are not for Adsense so I took that off my site.

I know that despite my introversion, I like being involved on the Internet even if only peripherally.

I know that I talk more nonsense than most.

Taking Baby Steps

Well, I still working on a new theme for my blog. I did make some small changes to its current theme.

Coming up with a new tagline for my blog is proving to be more challenging than I thought. I was almost tempted to go with “nappy-headed ho with a phd” but I can’t be sure that it wouldn’t be misconstrued, so I scratched the idea.

Never Gone Give You Up…

Well, I’ve been neglecting my blog a little. I don’t know if it’s so much offline activities getting in the way, or a lack of focus. I even contemplated killing my new blog for a split second. (yikes)

I think I will just let the chips fall where they may. However, I will try to tackle some of my proposed blog to-do’s from 3-28-07.

Settling In At My New Digs

Well, I’m trying to settle in at my new home at Ph. Diddy.Com.

I’m not convinced that I like the template I have chosen. Red links bother me. But I have tweaking furiously so I’m a little hesitant to switch templates. Although now that I’m writing this, I think I’ve just decided to do just that.
